- Eat healthily and watch the portion sizes that you are consuming. Ensure your body gets the nutrients it needs for optimal functioning.
- Exercise
- Include fish in your diet, like salmon, pilchards and sardines.
- Limit the amount of foods and drinks with sugar, especially artificial or added sugars.
- Include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet.
- Drink lots of water every day, at least 8 glasses a day
- Include foods that have a high amount of fiber in your diet.
A good measure of whether you are on the right track with your body is to get your cholesterol levels, Body mass index, sugar levels and high blood pressure checked. It is not an extensive, but it will give you a great idea on where you need to focus on and improve.
